Na`Vi secure first win in Miami over MIBR

Natus Vincere have secured their first victory at BLAST Pro Series Miami, defeating MIBR 16-8 on Nuke in the opening match of the round robin.

MIBR took on Natus Vincere on Nuke, with the Brazilian side beginning with a 2-0 lead on the defense after fending off a lower attack in the pistol round. When it came to the gunrounds, Na`Vi's methodical play started to prevail as they got three in a row and proceeded to control the half.

With the superstar duo Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev and Denis "⁠electroNic⁠" Sharipov putting up great numbers, the favorites made it to 8-4, with the Russian picking up a couple of clutches along the way to send MIBR on an eco each time.

MIBR only recovered in the last three rounds, with a 1v1 clutch from Marcelo "⁠coldzera⁠" David and two multikills from Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo's scope getting them to seven rounds at the end of the half.

Natus Vincere locked down a clean pistol round to extend their lead to 10-7, while the first gunround went the Brazilians' way as they opted with an upper execute to grab their eighth, but that was all she wrote. Na`Vi were in the driving seat for the remainder of the match, storming to a 16-8 victory while MIBR looked deflated in their last attempts.
