forZe through to Copenhagen Games grand final over Tricked

FORZE have advanced to the grand final at Copenhagen Games after defeating Tricked 2-0 in the semis (16-7 on Inferno and Dust2).

FORZE squared off against Tricked in the first semi-final and the series kicked off on Inferno where the Russian team started on the T-side. Andrey "⁠Jerry⁠" Mekhryakov picked up three kills in the pistol round and FORZE followed it up with five more to lead 6-0.

Tricked got on the scoreboard thanks to Frederik "⁠acoR⁠" Gyldstrand's triple grenade kill in the seventh round, two of which were with an HE, while the other one was with an incendiary. Rasmus "⁠sjuush⁠" Beck then clutched a 1vs3 to secure his team's second round (6-2).

The Danes got within two rounds of FORZE but Dmitriy "⁠facecrack⁠" Alekseyev and company went on to finish the half with a 10-5 lead. Bogdan "⁠xsepower⁠" Chernikov's double kill in the second pistol round extended FORZE's lead to 11-5 and the Russians won the map with a 16-7 scoreline.

The series continued on Dust2 where Almaz "⁠almazer⁠" Asadullin's triple kill on the defense made it 1-0 in FORZE's favor. Even though Tricked hit back in the second round, FORZE won five of the following six rounds, making it 6-2.

The Danes trailed 10-5 at halftime but managed to win the second pistol to keep their hopes alive. However, unfortunately for the Danes, FORZE stepped up to the plate in the first weapon round, starting a six-round streak to win the map 16-7.

With the 2-0 series victory, FORZE have advanced to the grand final where they will take on the winner of the match between Movistar Riders and Sprout.
