Mexico to host new GameGune

HLTV.org understands that Mexico may play host to a GameGune event later this year.

The Spanish GameGune tournament may have just come to an end, but sources close to the organisation have told HLTV.org that an event is being prepared in North America.

The GameGune organisation has reportedly been contacted to prepare an equal event in Mexico in September, which will take place at a LAN party for 1,000 people.

It is believed that this tournament will have the same prize money as the Spanish event - €22,500.

In my country got enough good players if they had sponsors, they could play high tournaments, but in our country NEVER no one ever had any sponsor NEVER in whole cs existenc, so i wouldn't cry about sponsors because u got atleast k1ck.

Do you think that IF the tournament is at "Cidade do Mexico", there will be 1,000 players? Don't expect that much. In South America, Buenos Aires & Cidade Do Mexico are the most virus affected in the whole World. I would think in a tournament in a place that has no Virus. Let's see what happens, and let's see if this goes front or not.

Right now, it's less than 1% of Mexican population is infected with H1N1. It's just a matter of whether we abided the health guidelines. At least, this will help to promote esports gaming in South American countries. But, i want to see one day Gamegune to be held in a sexy city such as Rio de Janeiro.
