HLTV.org live from Sydney

The $250,000 Intel Grand Slam tournament, IEM Sydney, has just kicked off, and we will be bringing you coverage from the event over the course of the week.

A total of 16 teams from Europe, Asia, Oceania, as well as North and South America will be competing for a $250,000 prize pool at the third installment of IEM Sydney, which starts today with the group stage at the Bankstown Sports Club.

Liquid are the highest-ranked team in attendance, with home crowd favorites Renegades also looking to do damage at the tournament which kicks off with two eight-team groups.

Currently, only one of our coverage crew members is on-site, interviewer Zvonimir "Professeur" Burazin, with Lucas Aznar Miles set to arrive later today due to travel issues, and provide photographs starting tomorrow.
