valens replaces Rambo as Cloud9 coach

Ronald "⁠Rambo⁠" Kim's stint as Cloud9's head coach has come to an end as Soham "⁠valens⁠" Chowdhury is coming back to reassume the position.

valens had transitioned to a Head of Data Science role back in March, but the 29-year old is now back at the helm, taking up the North American organization's head coaching position.

Rambo joined Cloud9 on trial in January and assumed the permanent position two months later. Since March, the North American team finished dead last at BLAST Pro Series Miami and came second in their ESL Pro League Season 9 Americas group.

valens is once again Cloud9's coach

valens and company have a busy month ahead as they will attend the second stage of ESL Pro League Season 9 and will play at BLAST Pro Series Madrid and DreamHack Masters Dallas.

Agreed, there were so many rumored moves at one point that it made you excited as a c9 fan but now they are making coaching changes when that is far from the problem

It was such a shame, I was legitimately excited for auti, rush, kio, golden, flusha but we never really saw the potential of it :(

Like the coach is the problem. Constantly swapping players does not make it easy for a coach... Give them time and maybe, just maybe, they can get a decent team.

I think these guys just need a stable roster and even if you aren't good at least you have something to start from and build on, stop having players going in and out of the team every few months and actually get some stable players, this ORG is turning into a joke honestly.
