BLUEJAYS sign Akopalipsa

Akopalipsa have joined the ranks of BLUEJAYS, the German organization has revealed on Twitter.

The Serbian lineup will be BLUEJAYS' first full-time Counter-Strike roster, with the Germany-based organization aiming to grow their presence in the scene with this move.

The Serbian team recently attended the CSadria Clan Championship Season 3 Finals in Split, Croatia, where they were crowned champions after defeating Locastic 2-0 in the grand final.

BLUEJAYS have a new roster

In a statement, Petar "⁠HOLMES⁠" Dimitrijević noted that BLUEJAYS share the same vision as the team and expressed his belief that the squad is "not far from reaching our full potential."

"I believe we have the right structural approach, as well as individual talent and experience among our players," he added.

"Our goal has always been to improve and to battle our way towards the top and in order to do so we needed support by an organization with the same vision like ours."

Akopalipsa ist ein solides Team. Außerdem ist es deutlich teurer deutsche Spieler Vollzeitgehälter zu zahlen... Ich glaube trotzdem nicht, dass der Move sonderlich viel Sinn macht. Nicht, dass das wie mit dem litauischen Playing Ducks Team endet.

lol a lot of money... seems like its not even worth to talk about it with you... here in Germany orgs (in CS) have to find every sponsor they can get to at least pay an Aufwandsentschädigung (sorry dunno the word in English) for their Trainings... we have got UoL, BIG, sprout, alternate and expert as fulltime teams what isnt much compared to the size of the scene while sprout, attax, big and UoL dont even play the 99Liga... +here CSGO orgs and clubs dont get any money from the state because cs and so onare still "killergames" while fifa and lol are getting supported by the state, the bundesliga and the bundesliga clubs... so ofc how can a scene grow when you only have 4-5 chances to play fulltime and in those orgs no new players arrive because they just shuffle under each other
