The Danish team HEROIC has announced that they removed their AWPer Daniel "⁠mertz⁠" Mertz from the active lineup.

The move followes HEROIC's unsuccesful IEM Sydney campaign, where Patrick "⁠es3tag⁠" Hansen and co. finished 13-16th after two defeats; to fnatic and Grayhound.

mertz has been removed from Heroic's active lineup

HEROIC has not yet announced who will be replacing mertz on the team, with more news set to follow. The team is set to play the ESL One Cologne qualifiers today, and will be fighting for an ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals spot on May 21-23 in Leicester.

I agree on the awp part.. But i think if they take in cadiaN is because of the IGL part as well.. So blameF can go back to being just rifler and not being the IGL..

dude i hate cadiaN, but cadiaN and NaToSaphiX are literally playing the same roles in game and cadiaN has much more experience than Nato wtf. That's not even a debate. cadiaN has been through hella qualifiers, bootcamps, lost hard against the best teams, won big against shit teams, applied his skills where he could etc. but he wasnt good enough NaTosaphix is not much better either, imo. Both are quite shit players. Players like nukkye and pounh, however, are extremely fucking good and deserves more chances than these Danish fucks

NaToSaphiX is smart as a player, great AWPer and at least good rifler, he isn't shit lol. I don't give a fuck about cadiaN's experience because I've seen his "experience realization" in North where his calls were pure shit which I can see just by playing MGE matchmaking, also he has very very mediocre AWP skill, so is his rifle.
