dennis shines as NiP dispatch ENCE to secure 1-1 record in Madrid

Ninjas in Pyjamas secured a 1-1 record at BLAST Pro Series Madrid following a 16-5 victory over ENCE on Nuke.

Having sustained a loss in round one, Ninjas in Pyjamas looked to set affairs straight against ENCE by securing the first pistol round on the CT side of Nuke, largely thanks to a USP-S triple frag from Fredrik "⁠REZ⁠" Sterner. A further round was obtained by the Swedes, shortly after which ENCE reminded of their presence with a string of three consecutive rounds of their own.

An impressive AWP quad kill from Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman to equalize the scoreline at 3-3 kicked off what proved to be snowballing momentum for Ninjas in Pyjamas. Consistently the Swedes were able to fend off the aggressing Finns, keeping their defence very tight and compact to pick up a commanding 12-3 lead.

dennis impressed the audience with an astonishing 2.31 rating on Nuke

Sami "⁠xseveN⁠" Laasanen's quad kill in the second pistol round gave his team room to breathe, creating an opening for a comeback on the defence. ENCE were able to cop an additional round, but then Ninjas in Pyjamas once more assumed the driver's seat. An economic reset spelled disaster for the Finns, who were unable to prevent their opponents from cruising to a comfortable 16-5 victory.
