BLAST Pro Series Madrid 2019Astralis beat Giants to take the lead, Na`Vi defeat Cloud9
Astralis have extended their Nuke streak to 31-0 after beating Giants 16-7, securing their second win at BLAST Pro Series Madrid and pulling ahead of the competition, while Natus Vincere took down Cloud9 16-7 on Mirage to put their first victory on the board.
After being on the receiving end of a dominant showing from ENCE, Natus Vincere looked much better at the beginning of their second encounter on Mirage, this time facing Cloud9. With a pistol round win, Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko's men pulled ahead early, with Egor "flamie" Vasilyev's quad-kill and Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev's triple extending their lead to 5-0.
Cloud9 responded with four in a row with an execute towards each bombsite, as well as 1v2 clutches from Maikil "Golden" Selim and Daniel "vice" Kim, but they soon ran out of steam when Na`Vi took over the half again. Ending it with a 6-0 streak, with Denis "electroNic" Sharipov picking up four multikills along the way, the favored side clinched a comfortable 11-4 scoreline.
Cloud9 started their comeback attempt with a pistol round victory, which saw them close the gap to 11-7, but as they had struggled against Na`Vi's semi-eco, flamie's 1v2 clutch in the first gunround sent the North American side on a forcebuy.
With the economy advantage, Natus Vincere had little trouble closing out the match with a five-round streak, securing their first win in the round-robin in two matches.

On the C stream, Giants were hoping to continue a promising run after taking Cloud9 to a tight match on Dust2, going up against Astralis's 30-0 Nuke streak in their second match. The Portuguese side drew first blood with a comfortable pistol, which transpired into a 4-0 lead as Terrorists after they forced Astralis to save three weapons in the first gunround.
The saved guns were enough for the Danish powerhouse to get on the board with their first round, and from there on the half looked firmly in their hands, with Giants managing to put only two more on the board in close retake scenarios.
When the sides switched, Astralis continued to control the match with a pistol going their way, as well as a close anti-forcebuy in which Nicolai "device" Reedtz clutched a 1v2. With that, the Danish side strolled to a comfortable 16-7 win, putting their second W on the board.
