Winstrike appoint Johnta as coach

Winstrike have added Ivan "⁠Johnta⁠" Shevtsov as coach, the Russian organisation has announced.

The Ukrainian coach had been searching for a new home after departing from TYLOO after a three-and-a-half-month tenure with the Chinese organisation at the end of April.

Johnta will be replacing Russian coach Daniil "⁠pipsoN⁠" Mescheryakov on Winstrike, who had stepped into the role in March. The Russian coach is currently on the lookout for a new challenge and can be reached by email here.

Johnta joins Winstrike as coach

In a statement on the Winstrike website, Head Manager, Adalyat Mamedov, expressed Johnta will be a great addition to the side, adding, "Johnta is a great specialist and I'm sure we will get better results in a short period of time".

Winstrike will have little under two weeks to prepare with Johnta for the CIS Minor Closed Qualifier for the StarLadder Major from June 8 through June 10, where they will compete with 15 other teams for qualification.
