Sprout sign k1to

Following the departure of Denis "⁠denis⁠" Howell to BIG, Sprout have now announced the signing of Nils "⁠k1to⁠" Gruhne.

Sprout had been depleted to just four players after denis, who had been with the team since its inception, replaced Johannes "⁠nex⁠" Maget in BIG's starting lineup.

Brought on to replace denis is German 20-year-old rifler k1to, who already shared a team with Florian "⁠syrsoN⁠" Rische when both were under the leadership of Nicolai "⁠HUNDEN⁠" Petersen in ALTERNATE aTTaX in 2018.

k1to will take the place left by denis in Sprout

k1to leaves Epsilon after nearly five months with the international line-up, during which the team most notably placed 3rd-4th at Charleroi Esports and 5th-6th at Copenhagen Games.

"I’m truly excited to be part of Sprout from now on. When I learned about the team’s interest, it was immediately clear to me that I wanted to accept this offer. For quite some time it has been my goal to play in a good German-speaking team.

"I will do my best to get back into the top 30 with the team. Many thanks to my teammates from Epsilon. It was a good experience, in which I developed myself strongly both humanly and skillwise."

To be honest, I think Sprout could even get stronger with k1to. So basically an upgrade for Sprout and a downgrade for BIG. And probably Sprout as an org made a transfer surplus.
