Liquid through to cs_summit 4 grand final over NRG

Liquid have defeated NRG 2-0 in the cs_summit 4 semis to advance to the grand final (16-8 on Mirage and Overpass).

The semi-final series between Liquid and NRG kicked off on Mirage where Tsvetelin "⁠CeRq⁠" Dimitrov and Ethan "⁠Ethan⁠" Arnold picked up double kills in the pistol round to put their CT-sided team ahead. Liquid responded in the third round to get on the scoreboard.

Jonathan "⁠EliGE⁠" Jablonowski got three kills in a 2vs4 to win the sixth round as Liquid led 4-2. NRG stopped Liquid's six-round streak with a team ace in the ninth round (6-3). Just when NRG were building momentum, Liquid won the 12th round with pistols, making it 8-4. Jake "⁠Stewie2K⁠" Yip and company led 11-4 at halftime.

Liquid were comfortable against NRG

Nick "⁠nitr0⁠" Cannella opened up the second pistol round with two kills, making it 12-4. Liquid earned 11 map points after nitr0 picked up a quad kill in the 19th round (15-4). They eventually closed out the map with a 16-8 scoreline.

Liquid started Overpass on the T-side and lost the pistol round after running out of time. But they then won seven of the following eight rounds to lead 7-2. Russel "⁠Twistzz⁠" Van Dulken picked up a quad kill in the 11th round to start a four-round run and Liquid led 11-4 at halftime.

Twistzz and EliGE won a 2vs2 in the second pistol round to extend their team's lead to 12-4. Liquid went on to finish it off with a 16-8 map victory, winning the series 2-0 and advancing to the grand final.

Sure zywoo?? Apex and RPK destroyed liquid on nuke by themselves; zywoo might as well have not been in the server. The kid is great, but he doesn’t have it consistently yet.
