Catherine "⁠cath⁠" Leroux marks he return to CLG Red on a trial period, taking over Benita "⁠bENITA⁠" Novshadian's spot in the starting five.

cath returns to CLG Red, an organization with which she won ESWC 2015, after stints with Selfless fe and Dignitas fe, the latter with whom she won this year's Intel Challenge Katowice.

bENITA has been moved to the bench, according to Dust2.us, with cath replacing her on the active roster. The Canadian's first match came last night in a 19-22 loss in ESEA Advanced, which now sees CLG Red sport a 3-5 record in the league.

CAth joins back up with CLG Red on a trial basis

With the North American invite to the $100,000 DreamHack Showdown having gone to Dignitas fe, CLG Red will have to go through the qualifying process if they want to make an appearance at the event in Valencia later this summer.

cath's statement regarding her return to CLG Red:

[I'm] super happy to be reunited with my old time teammates Diane and Goose and excited [about] what we can do with this lineup. I'm also excited to play with Jen and Emy, because they're players with a lot of potential and raw skill.

I don't get why they don't play in the same events as men. I mean, there's no difference between males and females when it comes to play video games. It's not like track and field. This way, they would get completely crushed as the bots they are and we would not be bothered by this kind of irrelevant news.

I can confirm they do try to play qualifiers in NA for real events they just get blown away by some random ESEA-Main team every time

Okay, i still think that the best of the best female Players should try to Join a Male Team even If it is Just Tier 3 or lower cause they will have better Chances too improve rather then stay in their female only Teams with bots as Team mates xD

Hard to give a specific Player since i dont keep Tab on female Players as much and You also have to consider how good they would fit as a team. But the top 3 female Players for Sure could at least try it out

Did not knew about this ! The thing is that there are tournaments allowing only female teams to join. This makes them pracc just to win the female-only events and results in a lack of competitivity against male teams. Imo this one of the many reasons why they can't qualify atm.

fam this whole fe cs thing is fucked. they are asking to be invited to top events, however i checked some pro female players stats in faceit XD i cant understand how the fuck is it possible to be bottom fragging every pug when u are a pro whos getting paid money to play??? ;D they want equality until it comes to the money. when the money is in play, they dont need equality anymore. liquipedia.net/counterstrike/Counter_Log.. look at their achievements. they do not participate in unisex events at all. and if they do(check recent matches), they get swept in group stage 2-16 or 0-16 xD
