The third open qualifier for the CIS Minor has come to a close, with Dracarys and Se7en claiming two spots in the closed bracket.

Day two of the third open qualifier saw eight teams battle it out in the playoff stage for a spot at the CIS Minor Closed Qualifier, with names such as NorBant and LOG returning after failing to progress through previous days of the tournament.

Dracarys booked their place in the closed qualifier after defeating 5balls convincingly on Train in the quarter-finals, going to claim a victory over NorBant in the semi-finals, with Danila "⁠redhide⁠" Demidov putting up a notable 1.52 rating across the series.

Dracarys move on to the CIS Minor Closed Qualifier

On the other side of the bracket, Se7en recovered from an unfortunate exit in the first open qualifier to find success this time around, defeating Georgi "⁠WorldEdit⁠" Yaskin's new side QtabENTER in the quarter-finals. A swift 2-0 semi-final win over fellow Kazakhstani squad LOG was enough to secure a spot in the closed qualifier for Se7en.

Two places remain at the CIS Minor Closed Qualifier, with the final spots going to two finalists in the fourth CIS Minor Open Qualifier on June 3. The current team list for the closed qualifier looks as follows:

we never play FPL cuz 100+ ping. We play faceit servers in kazakstan ukraine and russia is not problem with ping so they should play EU minor

Ukraine and Russia CS is good form and more skilled players because they play with good ping on FPL and FPLC And unfair, they still playing against kazak teams in garbage CIS minor.. EDIT: KZ teams Syman, Avangar, LOG have bootcamp in UA and BLR while ukrainian and russian teams have bootcamp in their own countries..

+1 everyone of these team actually 100x better than tier8 EU teams (VirtusPro, AGO, aristocracy or other)
