NRG confirmed at BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles

NRG have received an invitation to attend BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles, the event's organizers have announced.

The North American side has become the fifth team in the $250,000 event's team list, which also includes Liquid, MIBR, Cloud9, and FaZe.

NRG, who are currently the No. 10 team in the World Ranking, have recently attended DreamHack Masters Dallas and cs_summit 4, where they finished in 9-12th and 3-4th places, respectively.

NRG have a busy schedule ahead

Before attending their first-ever BLAST event, NRG will take part in the ECS Season 7 Finals, ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals, ESL One Cologne, as well as the Americas Minor closed qualifier.

BLAST Pro Los Angeles, which will feature best-of-three semi-finals for the first time in the circuit's history, will take place on July 13-14 at the HD Buttercup Building.

They didn't get invited to Starseries until last minute replacement even though they invited teams much worse than team. Same for Cologne they didn't get invited and had to qualify. And IEM Sydney they didn't get invited either but they lost in the finals of the qualifier. I bet all those teams like NiP, Fnatic, NRG (to a lesser extend because NA LUL) you put them in qualifiers you wouldn't see them at tier 1 events as much.

Yes but see my post above as I'm saying qualifiers in EU are fucking hard you put some of those "tier 1" teams that get invites based on past accomplishments and having fans, they will find it very hard to get to those events.

Well unfortunately that's how the system works, only the really good teams are able to break out at this point which Vitality have done, but that's exactly why they weren't invited to top tier events straight away.

Well fnatic qualified and won IEM Katowice 2018. So don't put fnatic on that list.

My point still stands Fnactic and NiP are the type of teams to seemingly almost always get invites even when they are in a big slump because they have fans.

Fnatic never gets invites because of fans.Fnatic won Katowice 2016,but they didn't got invite for 2017 and had to qualify.Similarly they had to qualify for 2018 and they won it too. Infact fnatic didn't got invites for kato 2018,epicenter 2017,oakland 2017,starladder season 3,kato 2017,dh las vegas. These are all big events except 2017.Fnatic never gets invites based on fanship. When they get invites,its always based on rankings when invites were sent.
