Esportal Global Finals set to start

The Esportal Global Finals will kick off on Friday, with four teams battling it out at the Swedish event.

The four-team event will take place at Inferno Online in Stockholm, Sweden, from Friday through Saturday, with approximately $22,525 up for grabs.

DETONA, Lyngby Vikings, ALTERNATE aTTaX and AVEZ, who advanced to the global finals after topping regional qualifiers, make up the participants' list for the event, which will begin with a round-robin stage in which the teams will play each other twice. The top two sides will progress to the best-of-five final, which will be played on Sunday at 16:00 .

Lyngby Vikings qualified for the global finals through the Nordic Finals

DETONA headline the team list for the two-day event. The Brazilian side, who are currently ranked 51st in the world, recently raised eyebrows by topping their ESL Pro League Season 9 Americas group and will use this tournament as preparation for the EPL Finals, in Montpellier, later this month.
