grux links up with Ancient*

Upon Nicolas "⁠Plopski⁠" Gonzalez Zamora's departure from the team, Ancient members have announced that they will be playing with Denis "⁠grux⁠" Gutaj moving forward.

Update: According to the StarLadder Major rulebook, Ancient are not able to change the lineup they qualified with unless an emergency occurs, which prohibits them from adding grux to their Europe Minor lineup.

The 19-year-old Swede had represented an earlier version of Ancient, featuring Andreas "⁠znajder⁠" Lindberg and Markus "⁠pronax⁠" Wallsten, and now makes his return to the team following Plopski's move to Ninjas in Pyjamas. grux will be playing with Ancient in their upcoming competitions, including the Europe Minor.

grux returns to Ancient ahead of the Europe Minor

Ancient managed to qualify for the Europe Minor by beating Windigo and North, and also impressed at DreamHack Open Summer, where they finished second after eliminating CR4ZY and Aristocracy. Their recent results saw them rocket up the rankings, currently sitting at #23.

Ancient will use the following roster moving forward:

Hes average, not amazing not bad. But, with a nice team like Ancient he can become better, hes pretty new to the scene. Played a while with Red Reserve & Paperplanes In RR draken, Disco, Rusty, freddieb & Hampus played with him, so Grux will reunite with his old teammates.
