kRYSTAL to coach BIG's academy team in addition to playing career

Alongside his active playing career with NoChance, Kevin "⁠kRYSTAL⁠" Amend will be helping BIG's academy team that competes mainly in German tournaments.

The experienced German in-game leader that attended three Majors with Penta and has recently qualified for the Europe Minor with NoChance will be linking up with BIG to help them develop German talent.

Parallel to his playing career, kRYSTAL will be coaching prospects from his country

The squad, fully named BIG.OMEN Academy, has recently qualified for the first division of the domestic 99Damage league and wants to continue their progress by cooperating with kRYSTAL.

In the official statement, BIG's Chief Gaming Officer Christian Lenz stated that he is happy to work with kRYSTAL, who helped the team for a short period previosly:

At the end of the last season, he helped the team with his know-how and his calm manner. It didn't surprise me that both he and the players harmonized well. kRYSTAL added that he will be supporting the academy team at "regular intervals", while maintaining his playing career with NoChance:

"I am very happy that I am now officially the coach of the BIG. OMEN by HP Academy Team. At first, I only jumped in at short notice to support the team during their preparations. After the first days, I already got a lot of positive feedback from BIG and the players. We got along very well and I was positively surprised at which level the players were already at. I was then offered to support the team at regular intervals parallel to my playing career. unsuccessful? He won Dreamhack, many german titles, esea mountain dew league finals, many times major... So he is maybe not the best but he knows the game very well and is a good IGL if not one of the best german ones. Therefore he perfectly fits the coach role.

He still went to the major 3x Times and no back in the time of PENTA he played the bad spots and used low weapons so that his team can play m4/ak. Also he didn't play bad at that time, now he is not up to date but still a really good igl. He always puts his teams succes before his own which is very important as a IGL/coach. BTW. german eps was not carried, he played just really well and was awping at that time, also 2x quarterfinals is still very good, alsop his first major was instantly quarterfinals were they lost against fnatic...
