PCgames.com.cn has conducted an interview with Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed in which the Swedish star talks about his gaming future.

As HLTV.org brought to you firsthand, Mohamed has recently signed an endorsement deal with ZOWIE GEAR, a recently-established company based in Huntington Beach, California, which offers several gaming products.

Quizzed by HLTV.org on his future, Mohamed refused to rule out the possibility of returning to competitive gaming, saying, "Yes, I might do that. You will see in the future."

The former Ninjas in Pyjamas star has now restated his stance, declaring he has never retired from gaming, having only opted to take a break.

"I didn’t stop completely, I still play every day with a lot of good players from Sweden," he said. "I’m in good shape when it comes down to playing cs."

Even I know him, and I'm not old.. He's one of the REAL legends, you know, before these people we now call legends.... He was the one who "invented" the position called, at least in Sweden, scream. no he can't, I am sorry but it has been some time since his skill isn't at a high enough level, was already the case back in SK. so try to imagine now he isn't even practicing for a top 5 team... everybody loves and believes in him because he is SpawN and he once was the best in the world, he isn't anymore (by far). of course he is really good, but that's not enough against today's top teams.

let me make an analogy here. I'm not fan of Barcelona, im fan of Real Madrid, but i admit that Barca was the best team in the world by far last season and they played the best football i've ever seen. they might never play the way they played, but in 50 years, me and everybody else is going to say to the youngest people " BARCA had the best team, and played the best football ever", even tough im not their fan, so will spawn be remembered, like one of the best player ever.. and sk of 2003 have the best team of all times. no argue about that. like barca last season. u know what i mean? i dont know if i make my self clear. :) but i respect ur opinion, not ur war against spawn.

have I been talking about replacement ? he isn't even in a team, how could he be replaced ? you just don't get my point dude. you ask me why I'm saying he isn't better than gtr, etc... DUDE LOOK AROUND YOU. tons of people think he is (you are a part of them), and I shouldn't express my point of view about this ? so let's put it this way: take a look at the eStars top10. not a single SK player in it, and gtr 1st. if you really believe what you are saying, it means that SpawN would have been in top10 (so above all his previous team mates), and he would have been like top5 or even first because he is better than gtr, Sunde, etc..? dude, come on... let's be a bit logical and objective about things.

never said I don't want him to come back, just said it's very unlikely he will be able to win against top teams. and yeah, I know what SK did at eStars, still we are talking about individual skill and they haven't a single player in the top10 (top10 is quite a large top in a small competition like this), so my point is that according to you, SpawN would have been in this top and above the best players in the world just because... he is SpawN and he once was the sickest player on Earth, which people clearly can't accept, still thinking he is the best, or top2 with f0rest. simply absurd.

wth are you even talking about, your comparing a computer game to football... Yes Ive seen spawn, ive mixed with him aswell. He often plays in internet cups. Hes really good, but there are many players better then right now. Thats a fact. He was good, he stopped. Whilst he was gona the rest improved and got better, now hes below them. Sure with practice he can become one of the best again perhaps, but he will never dominate the scene again like he once did.

What is wrong with compare SpawN and Ronaldo, they both made some big come backs and were the best players on the world in pass and both are ready to show their genius every moment, or you just dont like comparing two diffrent things with many similarities. And you shouldn't compare random mixs with official matches in big events where players are prepare and focus! Maybe I'm fan boy but I really believe in SpawN, but respect your oponion.

spawn is kinda known for playing with the semi-elite in sweden. remember when he was the leader of cb:nations-cup-whatever for sweden. no fnatic and rareky no SK-players. players like hibb and molander(yes they are good, but they are not carn, f0rest, walle etc). maybe he-ll form a team based on some good semi-elites? + one or two oldschoolers. would be nice : )

I couldnt agree with you more! Lets say that he manages to bring in another old school guy, like Fisker, Potti, Vilden or, do I dare to say, Tentpole? Tentpole just recently quit but Im going to be honest with you all, I dont think he's lost the spark for Counter Strike. I think he lost the motivation to play with SK, he might just need a new team. SpawN could be that player who makes Tentpole shine even more! Enough about old school players and Tentpole for now. So lets say he can bring in one of the named players, where can he start looking for rising stars? Begrip? Some other top 10 clan in Sweden? Maybe in the US and UK and form a international team? Even though Abdi's English could've been a lot better I bet he will learn to play with them easily.
