MSI MGA returns in 2019 with $60,000 prize pool

MSI and ESL have announced the 2019 edition of the MSI Gaming Arena, a $60,000 LAN event taking place at the Barclays Center in New York, USA.

Much like the 2018 edition, the tournament will be hosted at the iconic Barclays Center in New York as part of the ESL One event that will be held in the North American city. Four teams from North America, Europe, CIS and East Asia will compete in the Big Apple in looks to hoist the MGA 2019 trophy on September 30.

In order to qualify for the LAN event, teams will have to traverse four regional qualifiers, which will feature a total of eight participants each - six from two preceding open qualifiers and two from a last-chance qualifier.

The 2018 MSI MGA Finals saw AVANGAR take home the lion's share of the $60,000 prize pool after defeating Complexity in the grand final of the tournament, which also featured eUnited and Movistar Riders.
