ORDER part ways with zeph

The 17-year-old Charlie "⁠zeph⁠" Dodd has been removed from ORDER's active lineup after an eight-month stint with the squad.

zeph joined the team following Jay "⁠Liazz⁠" Tregillgas's departure to Renegades, having big boots to fill. After initial success with the youngster, ORDER struggled for achievements, narrowly missing out on a number of international LANs in 2019.

zeph wasn't able to keep his spot in ORDER

Chris "⁠emagine⁠" Rowlands and co. failed to qualify for IEM Sydney 2019, finished runners up in ESEA MDL S31, and, most recently, fell to AVANT in the Asia Minor qualifier, seeing their Major qualifier run come to an early end.

zeph did end his time with ORDER on a high, however, helping them win the ESL ANZ S8 Finals, but the team still decided for a roster change, with teammates taking to Twitter to give props to the youngster's talent and potential.

ORDER are now down to four:

I hadn't looked at Order's page but their design elements are template-based, which might explain the design. I didn't see any real similarities between this and Renegades, though their stuff visually jumps around. They either have someone who created it and then just fits it based on information, or they bought a design template somewhere else and update it themselves accordingly. It's just not a standard gaming look, which isn't a bad thing, just I'd think whoever did it might be better suited to a higher design industry (if they aren't already).

He never really did fill the gap that Liazz left. I firmly believe that if he cut his hair he would've been able to harness his talent sufficiently to stay on the team. Also, growing a beard would have helped him to carry the team to new highs. Sadly we will never know.
