Official: SK Gaming bring in zneel

SK Gaming have completed the signing of Jim "zneel" Andersson from Begrip Gaming.

As HLTV.org revealed firsthand, SK Gaming and Begrip Gaming had been locked in talks for the past days regarding Andersson's transfer to the WCG runners-up.

SK have now confirmed on their official website the addition of Andersson to their Swedish Counter-Strike squad.

The ex-Begrip man will fill in for Kristoffer "Tentpole" Nordlund, who was released from the team on Monday after allegedly losing "energy for the game and eSports."

"In coming up with a replacement for Kristoffer, a few names popped into our head and all of us agreed that zneel probably would be the best choice for us," Dennis "walle" Wallenberg told the team's website.
"We had seen him on different tournaments where had impressed us in the past, so we decided to test him. It is big shoes to fill, but we have a good feeling about this and can't wait to play officially again."

On his "dream move" to SK, Andersson said, "Ever since I started playing this game I've always had in mind playing in one of the top teams in this world, and I could not be more satisfied than playing for SK. I'm truly honoured."

Andersson will have his official debut for SK this weekend, at the Swedish qualifier for the World Cyber Games, which HLTV.org will cover.

He has great potential I'd say. He has a great aim first, and I think that with SK he will improve a lot faster and become better in a matter of weeks. Try watching demos of Begrip. :)

Who else ? No one of Lemondogs would've left the team, they just got full sponsorship from H2k and switched to it. In Begrip, zneel is pretty much the best player or just as good as the others, and he probably had a better chemistry/friendship with SK than the others. SpawN then... why would he come in SK (sponsored by SteelSeries) when he is representing ZOWIE ? Marketing says no. ;)

WCG Sweden qualifier is a pretty hard first test! Last year's final was an epic game for SK and if 5 overtimes happen again I think they might struggle

this wont change much, even if he frags harder then most, he'll JUST make up for tent leaving. Allen and zet have been too random for anyone to make up for them on their own.

not like he used to. He used to be insane in nuke (especially CT side), and inferno. And now it seems like hes never in the top 3 fragging. Or rarely. Ive liked SK a long time, but I think that this was a horrible move. Too many of their players are off and on now depending on that day, or match, or whatever. I just dont think this will help. :(

that's why I really think SK should bring major changes to their roster and not just one new player. they should keep allen though. take a look at f0rest's case... lack of motivation, not as much fragging as before, then gtr and Gux come in and the true f0rest is back again. same thing would probably happen with allen, he isn't f0rest ofc but was SK's mad fragger before.

He is nowadays a more T sided player imo, especially on T dominated maps, you always see him in the top, for example on de_dust2.

Yes I obviously know all of this, and thats what makes my point even more. If tent wasnt fully motivated, bring in some new blood to wake him up, and cycle out one of the on and off players. Yes Allen used to do good on T side maps, but if you have watched SK in any of the events this year. D2 is their worst map by far, its basically a free map for a team unless they are awful. And it was SO bad on the last 2 events they couldnt do anything on D2, and everywhere where they have been getting rolled. It's because Allen is getting worse and worse, and his play degrades, you can really see it through the whole team. They need to replace someone with zet/allen, and then maybe one of them will get real motivation to try hard. OR, walle can retire as hes been talking about. But even then they would need a new type of player to replace him..so id say zet or allen. Hopefully tent signs with a team for WCG so he can rape them all :D
