BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles viewer's guide
With BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles kicking off soon, we present a viewer's guide containing all the information you need to know about the $250,000 event.
BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles will take place at the HD Buttercup Building over the weekend and feature six contestants duking it out for the lion's share of a $250,000 prize pool.
Contrary to previous BLAST events, Los Angeles will see an adjusted playoff format. The group stage will once more witness a best-of-one, round-robin format, but a total of four teams will advance to the single-elimination, best-of-three playoffs on this occasion, instead of two.

The entirety of the event will be played out on-stage, with the round-robin stage being played out on Saturday, July 13. The playoffs and the BLAST Pro Stand-off will follow on Sunday, July 14, the latter taking place between the semi-finals and the title decider.

Hosting her second BLAST Pro Series event is Eefje "Sjokz" Depoortere, previously seen behind the desk in São Paulo. The Belgian host will be joined by a rotation of analysts, namely Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill, Christine "potter" Chi, Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert and Sean "seang@res" Gares. Frankie Ward and Tres "stunna" Saranthus will be interviewing and hosting on stage, respectively, while three casting duos will be providing match commentary over the course of the weekend.

The $250,000 prize pool will be distributed as per below:
1. $125,000 + 10 BPS Points
2. $50,000 + 8 BPS Points
3. $25,000 + 6 BPS Points
4. $15,000 + 4 BPS Points
5. $10,000 + 2 BPS Points
6. $5,000
BLAST Pro Stand-off winner: $20,000
In addition to prize winnings, the invited teams will be granted Blast Pro Series points depending on their tournament placement. Upon conclusion of the 2019 BPS circuit, points will be tallied, and the four teams with the most points will face off at the $500,000 BLAST Pro Series Global Finals, hosted at an as-of-yet undisclosed location.
