Lineups for ENC 2009 finals revealed

The European Nations Championship will have its 2009 finals next week, taking place at gamescom in Cologne, Germany.

It will be a one day event when the finals kick off on Saturday the 22th of August. Four teams have reached the finals, playing best-of-three maps in a single elimination bracket. Defending champions are Sweden, who last season crowned themselves champions by defeating Germany in the overall final.

The four teams to play the 2009 European Nations Championship are Sweden, Germany, Poland and France. The lineups for the four teams have now been revealed, so we now know who will be fighting for their country next weekend.

The European Nations Championship will as mentioned be on display 22th of August, being Saturday next week. The first match will be starting at 09:30CET, with a scheduled final at 18:00CET. HLTV.org will be onsite in Cologne, to bring you all of the action from gamescom and the 2009 European Nations Championship.

actually the german team is also very strong. they got some sick players to. they're all here because they are GREAT teams. by now i think it's just about who has the greatest in-game leader and individual skilled players. we'll see

I think they earn more than an average salary, according to interviews with SK regarding this. A wild guess is 2.5-3.5K euro per month. I doubt they earn more than that.

Those are outrageous numbers if you ask me. I don't think a players wage is very high, maybe slightly above 1000€. Not much more. Obviously add bonuses to that for won tournaments. They get a lot of sponsoring though, so they don't have to pay for PC parts and all that, depending on who actually sponsors them.

It doesn't matter, you see :) walle is Swedish, so SK is best for him, so Sweden is best for him :) never mind there's no walle, it's just because cArn is the in-game leader and there can't be 2 in-game leaders in one team... But it would be amazing if there were 2 :)

obviously u haven't watched matches in a long time. i'll be SURPRISED if poland manage to win this.. DOUBT IT.. since both germany and france also has amazing players u should be proud if poland ends up in top 3.. SpawN - isn't as good as he used to be. there are bigger and younger talents now. sure no walle but remember the number one team in the world right now is fnatic soooo cArn must be doing something right. sure we're loosing some point to have face in the lineup instead but he's a good player and we allready have 2 machines gux and GTR and the latest matches at WCG sweden cArn acted as a fragmachine to.

First, both Poland and Germany are able to destroy Swe sick Line-Up... It isn't just about tactics and aim, luck is really important in gaming... Second, SpawN is still in a good shape, I'll try to find his IE from his recent game with some Swe players - actually he can be even better if he practiced a bit with a new team.

Sweden start like favorites because all of these guys , maybe besides allen , are all in top shape.Germay and Poland seem to be battleling for 2nd place but you never know.German players are sick aimers and so are the Polish.We all know how NEO can decide a match by himself.France seem to be the underdogs at these lan finals but you can't underestimate them.You know eML- players are capable of being wicked sick if they are fully concentrated. My opinion: 1)Sweden 2)Poland 3)Germany 4)France But you can't be sure of anything.

Well, another illness must be that France could defeat Sweden, I don't think they're able to do so... 1. Sweden (pretty sure) 2. Germany/Poland 3. Poland/Germany 4. France (that's clearly certain) Another thing, he has some kind of disabillity to think, because as krux00 said, Germany and Poland couldn't be 1. and 2., and Sweden/france couldn't be 3. and 4. too...
