CIS and Asia Minors viewer's guide

With the second pair of Minors leading to the StarLadder Major set to start, we bring you an overview of the most important information regarding the two tournaments.

The action will take place from Wednesday to Sunday, July 24-28, with the matches of the Asia Minor taking place first, followed by the CIS ones. The schedule will be adjusted depending on the length of the matches, so start times are approximated.

Grayhound are favorites to top the Asia Minor

Each Minor will feature eight teams, with the two best earning their places at the Main Qualifier and the third-placed team going into the Minor Play-in, which takes place on Monday, July 29.

why isnt there? my honest guess is that there wouldnt be enough teams in certain regions and so its easier to condense them. Also CSGO doesnt use continents it uses regions. CIS for example being a sub region of europe. I know that there were a lot of teams that registered to qualify in the middle eastern regional qualifier. that imho would be the next region to get more slots as it currently sits at one. Besides that though, i think its fine to have more slots for regions that host more teams at higher levels because without that you end up getting lopsided tournaments. I'd be interested to see the major become a super tournament where the minor qualifications going on now get absorbed into the major (ie more stickers)
