Ancient to trial MODDII

Former HEROIC rifler Andreas "⁠MODDII⁠" Fridh has joined Ancient on trial after months of inactivity.

Following Nicolas "⁠Plopski⁠" Gonzalez Zamora's exit to Ninjas in Pyjamas in June, Ancient brought on Denis "⁠grux⁠" Gutaj, a former player of the organization in a different iteration of the team under the command of Markus "⁠pronax⁠" Wallsten and Andreas "⁠znajder⁠" Lindberg, to fill the hole in the roster left by the departing youngster.

MODDII will be on trial with Ancient

It will now be MODDII who joins the starting five on a trial basis taking over grux's place on the roster, who only played two events with the team. The 30-year-old Swede joins Ancient after seven months on the sidelines, six as a benched player for HEROIC, where he was a founding member, and one as a free agent.

Ancient, who lost to fnatic and BIG in the Europe Minor and are currently the #33 team in the world, will play the European Champions Cup with MODDII starting on September 16.

With the addition of MODDII, Ancient is:
