mousesports beat AVANGAR in overtime; HellRaisers even out record over Complexity

MOUZ beat AVANGAR 19-17 in overtime to remain undefeated, while HellRaisers made quick work of Complexity, 16-5, to go 1-1 after the first day.

AVANGAR opened the scoreboard on Inferno by winning the first pistol round on the defense as Aleksei "Qikert" Golubev and Timur "buster" Tulepov both hit two headshots with the USP. A fast play on the A site in the first gun round ended with a 5vs4 afterplant situation and the Kazakh team calling for a save. Two frags by Sanjar "SANJI" Kuliev and three by buster kept AVANGAR ahead, and a blooper by David "frozen" Čerňanský throwing a molotov in a 1vs1 afterplant meant the Kazakhs would take a 5-1 lead. It seemed like AVANGAR were in charge, but MOUZ were able to put in four out of five rounds to close the gap. But it was Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev and company who were able to take a 9-6 lead at the half.

mousesports managed to take it in overtime and remain undefeated

Four kills by frozen got MOUZ off on the right foot on the CT side, who then won the third round with SMGs to tie it up, 9-9. The match evened out at 10-10, and a successful B play by AVANGAR gave them the lead once again. The two teams continued shoulder to shoulder until the Kazakh side took a 14-12 lead, but MOUZ won a crucial 27th round to stay alive as Chris "chrisJ" de Jong pulled off a ninja defuse. Despite losing the following round, MOUZ managed to take the last two to push it to overtime.

AVANGAR took the first round in the first half, and after two opening frags by buster in the second, bagged another. MOUZ then took the last round before evening it up after the switch, 17-17, going on to hit match point after winning a 2vs2 afterplant on A. With only one match point up their sleeve, they took a 2vs3 afterplant situation on B to seal the deal.

HellRaisers won a 4vs3 afterplant situation on the attacking side of Inferno against Complexity to kick off their second match in Berlin. The European combine then kept pushing on the attack, breaking through the American side’s defenses time and time again. With Žygimantas "nukkye" Chmieliauskas leading the charge, HellRaisers managed to win nine rounds in a row before Complexity could reply. The American team would go on to win one more, but HellRaisers kept their death grip and only gave up one more round before the half, 12-3.

nukkye had a great showing against Complexity

Frags by Hunter "SicK" Mims and Owen "oBo" Schlatter cleared the way for Complexity to open the second half scoreboard, but an ace by Christian "loWel" Garcia Antoran turned the round on its head. The American side didn’t fret, however, taking the anti-eco to stay alive. With guns back in their hands HellRaisers won two more rounds, getting on match point, before closing it out against a forcebuy, 16-5.

Faze/Old Astralis lost faith on karrigan for different reasons, but non of them was due to karrigan's IGL ability, it was more about team morale/ego issues, Karrigan is one of the best IGLs if not the best IGL out there, ppl who hated him back to faze days are most niko fanboys thinking fragging is the most important thing in csgo.

why would he leave? Jame's rifle skill is pretty bad so there will be no T1 CIS teams want him, avangar is perfect for him, he got teammates drop him awp and bait for him.

Well they would have won that last round with one more flashbang or maybe mouz should have stopped them in the quaters. And anyways, why would you look back to past and search for the worst memories ?

Because he was near fucking dogshit and now he strikes. He had to play like that againast fucking C9 in the very fucking same Inferno. He was bad when i was his and FaZe's fan and when stopped rooting for him - he became almost god. That's makes me fucking sad.

Maybe cause the team chemistry was shitty towards the end and now he got young, talented players around him he could personally pick instead of a star lineup. He is unquestioned and everyone is happy to have him around, so he plays much more confident.
