Apeks bring back Marcelious; move aNdz to analyst role

Ole "⁠Marcelious⁠" Kristian Langan has been added back into the starting line-up after two months on the bench, with Anders "⁠aNdz⁠" Kjær transitioning to a role in the backroom staff.

aNdz has taken up an analyst role in order to assist the team from the sidelines, with Kristian "⁠akez⁠" Kornbakk currently being tested as the in-game leader.

Marcelious returns to the active line-up

The 27-year-old IGL had been playing in the team since the end of 2016, back when the side played under the name Temp.no. During his prolonged tenure, aNdz led the team to numerous local LAN events, the most recent being Telia League Spring 2019, where Apeks took down Nordavind in the grand final.

"Since you are often blinded by being too close for a long time, it was right for me now to be able to look at some of the issues from the outside," aNdz said.

Marcelious returns to the active line-up after two months on the bench, having been removed from the starting roster in June to make way for Erik "⁠truth⁠" Hansen Dyrnes. He will take up the AWPing position with hopes of him reaching his full potential and helping the team to achieve international success.

the norwegian scene is a big ego circle-jerk boys club. so people wanting to make changes to include more community and such gets pushed down. its been run by the same few guys on gamer.no, and now the NPL faceit hubs are just the same as the same guys run it basicly. a new talent is just called cheater. the very few norwegians that actually made it, like actually made it... had to go play with other nationalities.

good change andz does not have the mechanical skill but he can be a good analyst. this team is better than ever now (on paper) lets see if they can break through.

Andz is like shakeby.. only be doesn't hit the shots when he shakes. But he is a very good leader with tons of positive energy and knowledge. Zeves was a better player as IGL, but way too toxic and couldn't keep teams together.. though in his defence, some of these kids like Marcelious and Radifaction were extremely narsissistic(zeves also has that diagnosis btw) brats who thought they could skip pracc and still get paid etc. I would have choked them to death myself as IGL. Some kids only learn by getting slapped around. Kids with fragging skills think they are ireplacable. But they are useless if they can't be team players.. they don't learn fast. Polly should play. I get they want new schoolers to reach the top, and there are not many to chose from(norwegian cs is plagued with spoiled and weak casual gamers without work ethic) , but Polly is still their best player in many ways vs top teams.. who cares if players are good vs no-namers and on faceit? But Polly wants the coaching role actually.. from what I have heard. And hopefully he can tame the repeekers a bit. GL Apeks
