Astralis shut down DreamEaters to secure 1-0 record

Astralis secure a 1-0 record in the New Legends Stage following a successful 16-9 Dust2 against DreamEaters.

The second map of the day saw Astralis and DreamEaters face off on Dust2. The Russian underdogs kicked off to a strong T-side start, where a 3k from Anton "⁠speed4k⁠" Titov in the pistol round ensured an early 3-0 lead. In their first rifle round, Astralis were able to convert their first digit, but were prevented from advancing to a lead, after a massive performance from Vladislav "⁠Krad⁠" Kravchenko stalled the Danes.

Despite the setback, the heavy favourites stood ground, now in a more consistent fashion, assuming the lead off the back of seven consecutive rounds. DreamEaters softened the blow with an additional two rounds, concluding their T side with a 6-9 deficit.

Magisk topped the scoreboard on Dust2 with a 1.53 rating

A consecutive pistol round for DreamEaters was closed out off the back of an outstanding individual play, this time courtesy of a 4k from Semyon "⁠kinqie⁠" Lisitsyn on the A site. The Russian squad very nearly equalised off the back of this but were one round short before Astralis continued their dominion. The Danish offense let but a single additional round slip on their way to map point, and subsequently closed out the map off the back of a successful B hit at 16-9.

Astralis gonna lose because it's just Dreameaters a low tier team and the competition was kind of close so lets see what will happen if liquid vs dreameaters or maybe its just dreameaters is really a excellent team
