The Germans defeated the Danes, in a very intense Grand Final at Global Challenge Cologne. mousesports secured a solid win on nuke with 16-6, while mTw took a 16-13 victory on train, mousesports finished it all off with a 16-13 win on dust2, to win 2-1 overall.
no, THE BEST team should win more than any other team.
lets say team A wins 3 events while team B wins 2 events. which one is THE best team? exacly, team A. doesn't mean they will win EVERYTHING.

i watch stream when i can. cause i think the commentary spices it up. but ofc hltv is great! cause they cover like all the matches! so when esl isnt covering or its in german i always watch hltv:)

The commentary is indeed nice at times and I very much enjoy the UI, seeing all the player's HP in bars and whatnot.
But not being able to choose the player that I want to follow and having to watch in a very low quality is annoying.
It was lag-free though, gotta give 'em that.

yes i agree on that, but ive been watching esl streams for quite some time now so i have gotten used to it. i think the commentators adds something extra to the match, thats why i love esl tv:)

I don't like the commentary, I would prefer to have an experienced CS player commentating rather than someone who spends 3 hours stating the obvious.. those commentators don't give good insight at all... watch walle's commentating of fnatic vs mtw... now thats good insight.

no I don't missed that but there were Top Teams also like wicked, emulate, DTS Gaming , Alternate, millenium, CC ... and so on all over 32 Teams! It's not that easy as you think :D

great teams, great games, great tournament! i think the prize distrubution could have been a little better though. 6000 for 1 place, 2000 for 2 place and 1000 for 3-4 maybe.

They probably just wanted to have a small tournament with the 4 best teams just to start everything up so they gave them money just to participate, otherwise some team might've decided not to show up. :)

Mouz win 2 close event EM and GameGune (miss fnatic). They win EM when fnatic attended. Mouz seem become stronger, win all 10 close matches against any opponent (3 top world team, fnatic, Wicked, mTw, correct me if i am wrong).

in my opinion, all top 5 cs teams are on the same level, (fnatic were on a different level before this tournament, who knows maybe theyll start dominating again)
SK are VERY good with face, although i didn't like them with zet.

Well ESL TV did a good job this time, the one major downside is the low quality stream, obviously you have to pay for premium! Besides this the commentators were good Imo, I'd rather watch HLTV though!

hm i would like to see a player created by the people of hltv together with the esl. a player you could use to see your pov's you want to see + showing the hp of all players all the time. maybe the tool could be connected with a radio cast from esl for those events (commentators of esl have done a good job after the first map of first match when all people flamed about gamma + silly commentators). the advertising could also be a part of it, to calm down the esl crew with their sponsors in the back.
first i think esl tv is only crap, but both, hltv and stream has advantages to each other. maybe try to get both good ideas to make customers/ fans lucky together and create a perfekt tool? the problem i see is the esl is VERY commercial organisation where the customers wishes are ALWAYS second placed while hltv isn't, they just want to make a great view on the cs scene.
what do you think about?
