Chaos have not extended their team's contracts, the North American organization has announced.

The now former Chaos players, currently waiting to play LOOT.BET Season 4 and the ECS Pinnacle Cup, as well as the online MDL Season 32 Europe, have been dropped by their organization.

Chaos have decided not to renew their Swedish roster

The Swedes had recently been seen playing the ECS Open Qualifier with Fredrik "⁠freddieb⁠" Buö and Simon "⁠tabz⁠" Feldt—the latter also currently registered on the team's MDL roster—, who were standing in for Linus "⁠Bååten⁠" Andersson and Niclas "⁠PlesseN⁠" Plessen.

Moving forward, the former Chaos core of Daniel "⁠djL⁠" Narancic, Joakim "⁠Relaxa⁠" Gustafsson, and Fredrik "⁠FREDDyFROG⁠" Gustafsson will remain together. The trio are currently trying out players for the last two positions on the team, and will play their upcoming matches with tabz and Bååten.

As far as the organization goes, they will sign a team to line up with their operations in North America, stating that they will hopefully be announcing a new roster shortly.

Chaos GM Jared Fletcher made the following statement:

”This team is one of the hardest working teams I have come across and it was my first major experience with top level Counter-Strike players. They have teetered on the edge of success many times and have still not quite broken through at the level which any pro CS player aspires to, but every time they immediately picked themselves back up and get back to work with renewed focus and drive. I have no doubt that this team will eventually find the success they seek and any organization that can support them fully would be lucky to have them.

"We wish all of the players the best of luck in the future. If a prospective team would like to contact them they can be reached here. We are actively pursuing options in North America and hope to have a roster ready to announce shortly."

The former Chaos trio that will remain together and assemble their new roster in the next few days is:
