Grayhound part ways with NeiL_M

Grayhound have announced the departure of coach Neil "⁠NeiL_M⁠" Murphy, who had been with the organisation since April.

NeiL_M was signed as a full-time coach to Grayhound on April 25, 2019, following a successful two-week trial period. The Irishman now concludes a five-month tenure with the Australian organisation, over the course of which he assisted the roster in achieving an all-time high world ranking at #17, and, most notably, a top 11 run at the recently concluded New Challengers Stage of the StarLadder Major Berlin.

Neil_M is no longer part of the Grayhound lineup

In addition to the team's outlined Major run, the 29-year-old coach played his role in the team's results at IEM Sydney, qualification for ESL Pro League Season 9 and Grayhound's flawless run at the Asia Minor, where the Oceanic representatives dropped but a single map on their way to qualifying for the New Challengers Stage.

With the departure of NeiL_M, Grayhound are now down to:

Man, Neil is honestly one of the absolute best coaches there are. Teams need a man like Neil standing behind them, getting them hyped up after every kill. I don't know what he brings to the team tactically but every team he's on has its morale through the roof. He better find a good home soon, he deserves it.
