Complexity part ways with Rickeh

Following their disastrous campaign at the StarLadder Berlin Major, Complexity have announced that they have released Ricardo "⁠Rickeh⁠" Mulholland from their team.

Rickeh had joined Complexity at the end of 2018, replacing Jaccob "⁠yay⁠" Whiteaker on the roster which, at the time, still had Peter "⁠stanislaw⁠" Jarguz at its helm. The Australian player's tenure on the team saw them post few notable victories as they attended only a small number of offline events, a result of them falling in the majority of online qualifiers in which they played.

Appearances at iBUYPOWER Masters and the ELEAGUE Invitational at the start of the year saw Complexity unable to post any victories, with one of their only notable results over the next few months seeing them manage a 2-0 victory over NRG at the IEM Katowice Major to secure a spot in the New Challengers stage of the next Major.

Rickeh is left without a team following Complexity's recent results

At the StarLadder Major, the team once again notched a single series victory, this time over TYLOO, with their elimination from the event coming in their fourth round of play to Grayhound. A tweet from Complexity's CEO, Jason Lake, drew the ire of some community members as he was quick to condemn the team's results, indicating that changes were on the horizon for the roster.

Shortly afterward, Rickeh posted a Twitlonger to explain some of the issues that he had faced with the team. He claimed that the squad did not utilize "people's strengths" and lamented that he was not allowed to use the AWP more often.

On Twitter, the Australian player revealed that he is open to the possibility of returning home to continue his career. He has been playing for North American teams since leaving Renegades in March 2017, with stints in CLG and Rogue before plying his trade for Complexity.

Honestly I would say no for a few reasons, Rickeh might have been a better awper than Grat (and might still be) at some point. He hasn't full-time awped in a while though. More importantly though RNG require a more selfless player like Grat, teamwork/chemistry is more important for them right now.
