ryann in talks with Envy - Report*

According to a report by Dexerto, Envy are in discussions to add Singularity member Ryan "⁠ryann⁠" Welsh.

The talks come just days after ATK picked up both Josh "⁠oSee⁠" Ohm and Ricky "⁠floppy⁠" Kemery from the Singularity roster, leaving them with just three players. Two of ryann's other teammates, Alan "⁠Shakezullah⁠" Hardeman and Cameron "⁠cam⁠" Kern, were linked to the formation of a new Chaos roster alongside Joshua "⁠steel⁠" Nissan earlier this week, leaving ryann as the only Singularity member not connected to a move to a new team at the time.

The report indicates that Envy also contacted floppy, steel, and Yassine "⁠Subroza⁠" Taoufik, although ryann appears to be the primary candidate as discussions have moved into "advanced stages" and he has already begun practicing with the team.

Envy are looking to ryann to finalize their roster

ryann has been apart of the Singularity core since May of 2018, and most notably helped the team win the WESG 2018 USA Regional Finals as well as achieve a second place finish in ESEA MDL Season 31. However, his success with Singularity didn't go very far from there as the North American team just barely failed to qualify for numerous offline events, with their most recent results seeing them miss out on a spot in ESL Pro League Season 10 after falling in Relegation.

Should the move come to fruition, Envy would have little time to prepare for their next showing as they are set to compete in both the ECS Season 8 NA Pinnacle Cup and the DreamHack Masters Malmo NA closed qualifier, with both events kicking off in less than a week.

The addition of ryann would give Envy the following roster:

Update: Following the publication of this report, HLTV.org has learned that Envy have also been practicing with New Identity's Skyler "⁠Relyks⁠" Weaver, leaving multiple players in consideration for the fifth position.
