Edward returns to Na`Vi as Winstrike loan expires

Ioann "⁠Edward⁠" Sukhariev has left Winstrike following the end of his loan deal from Natus Vincere, it has been announced.

The Ukrainian veteran will be placed on Na`Vi's bench for the time being as he considers his options after a brief tenure with Winstrike.

Edward spent less than four months with the team, in which he took up up the in-game leader role following the departure of Kirill "⁠Boombl4⁠" Mikhailov. The team struggled for results under his watch, finishing in 7th-8th place at DreamHack Open Summer and Good Game League while also coming up short in the qualifiers that they played.

Edward is currently assessing his options

His departure leaves Winstrike with just a three-man roster, with Aurimas "⁠Kvik⁠" Kvakšys having announced last week that he had been released by the organisation, which he had represented since it had acquired the Quantum Bellator Fire roster, in the summer of 2018.

Natus Vincere, who crashed out of the StarLadder Major in the quarter-finals following a 2-0 defeat to NRG, are slated to compete at BLAST Pro Series Moscow, taking place from September 13-14 at the VTB Arena. The CIS giants now have:

well f0rest had a kid like only a few weeks before the major, so i would not criticize his performance, also all of NiP sucked which probably demotivated him, it felt like only GTR really tried his best... and like i said in the end Edward played better than flamie and from an outside pov he seemed like a pretty down to earth guy who was able to calm the tilted players of Navi down when something went wrong.
