WePlay! Forge of Masters S2 CIS teams revealed

The first round of invites for WePlay Forge of Masters Season 2 has been announced by the tournament organizer.

The preliminary stages of the second season of WePlay Forge of Masters have already kicked off with the first open qualifiers already over. The competition, which will feature ten invited teams from the CIS region and ten from Europe, also has two spots per region for qualified teams.

AVANGAR are one of the CIS teams invited

The first teams to qualify for the online phase of the tournament are Dracarys in the CIS region and Copenhagen Flames in Europe. The second qualifier will be played this weekend.

The CIS invites for the $100,000 event include the BLAST Pro Series Moscow finalists FORZE and AVANGAR as well as Major teams DreamEaters and Syman, among others.

The tournament will have three online stages: one double-elimination bracket which will see six teams through to the finals, one single-elimination bracket for six teams which will conclude in a round-robin stage, and another single-elimination bracket from which two more teams will qualify to the finals.

Eight teams will then go on to the LAN, where they will play for the $50,000 lion's share of the prize pool.
