TYLOO, MVP PK headline team list for final IEM Beijing qualifier
The Asian qualifier for IEM Beijing will kick off this Tuesday, with eight teams vying for the final spot at the $250,000 tournament.
The qualifier will feature a double-elimination format and will consist of eight teams from all across Asia, including the second and third-placed sides of the Chinese qualifier, Invictus and TYLOO, who will have one final shot to prove their worth.
Missing out on a spot in Beijing, one year after reaching the semi-finals at the IEM event in Shanghai, would be a huge blow for TYLOO. YuLun "Summer" Cai's side, who recently brought YuanZhang "Attacker" Sheng back into their starting lineup, looked well off the pace in the Chinese qualifier, in which they played out close series against EHOME and 5POWER, and were twice defeated by Invictus in two maps.

One of the biggest talking points ahead of the qualifier surrounds MVP PK's lineup. The South Korean team currently have just three players and have remained tight-lipped on their future plans, with just four hours to go before their first match of the tournament, against Enkhtaivan "Machinegun" Lkhagva's Mazaalai.
Below you can find the match-ups for the first round of the qualifier:

The winner of the best-of-five grand final will get their hands on the final spot at IEM Beijing, which will be held from November 7-10, joining the following teams at the $250,000 competition:
