ScreaM, HS benched as GamerLegion build all-Swedish roster

GamerLegion have announced the addition of Alfred "⁠RuStY⁠" Karlsson to the starting roster and Daniel "⁠djL⁠" Narancic as the new coach as the organisation looks to build an all-Swedish team.

RuStY permanently joins GamerLegion after standing in for the team in numerous qualifiers as well as the European Champions Cup. The 21-year-old's addition comes after "weeks of internal evaluation" from the organisation, who were happy with the performances from the former Singularity and Red Reserve player.

The Swedish side have additionally recruited djL as the team coach, with the Swede transitioning to the role following a stint on Japaleno as team captain.

ScreaM benched by GamerLegion as they take all-Swedish approach

The move sees Adil "⁠ScreaM⁠" Benrlitom and Kevin "⁠HS⁠" Tarn moved to the bench, with the Belgian talent continuing to stream for the organisation while waiting for offers.

GamerLegion are yet to announce a fifth player for their new roster, with players like William "⁠draken⁠" Sundin, Adam "⁠friberg⁠" Friberg and Fredrik "⁠FREDDyFROG⁠" Gustafsson having all filled in for the team in recent tournaments.

With these changes, GamerLegion, who are currently taking part in ESEA MDL, the European Champions Cup and the European qualifier for StarSeries i-League Season 8, now have:

It’s business, and results. ScreaM hasn’t played a lot for them recently anyway. HS had an accident. Now it’s either gonna be GTR or draken. They could use nawwk as a rifler and secondary AWP to accommodate draken.

+1 It is harder to perform when you are always in a new team, it takes time to get the teamplay good and then you probably have to also learn some new positions on some maps. I think he could still become really solid rifler.

I honestly believe friberg would be the best choice here, he's proved himself a lot in heroic, proving he can help improve young guns, his experience is needed for this new roster, Dennis is good, but he had to take multiple breaks from play for his mental state, therefore I believe friberg could be a good role model, plus he's still a decent player for this tier 2 team

Most likely going to be +FreddyFrog, he’s been playing great with GL, highest rated player in most matches. He plays extremly well with Rusty and Hampus, They actually took 2nd at DH Valencia together. Would love to see Get_Right insted of Dennis though.
