HLTV.org has compiled a highlight reel to celebrate Vincent "⁠Brehze⁠" Cayonte's Most Valuable Player (MVP) award at ESL One New York 2019.

Brehze secured his second MVP medal in New York after impressing on his debut for Evil Geniuses, who won the $200,000 tournament by beating the No.2 team in the world, Astralis, in the best-of-five grand final.

The American rifler concluded the tournament with a 1.29 rating, the highest overall, beating off competition for the award from teammate Tsvetelin "⁠CeRq⁠" Dimitrov, who was hot on his tail with a 1.27 rating.

Brehze finished all maps that he played with above-average ratings, peaking against FaZe on Vertigo (1.66) and on the last map of the final, Nuke (1.54). He dominated several stats categories, including the KDD (+70) and KPR (0.84), and was among the best for ADR (84.2), percentage of rounds with at least one kill (53.0%) and headshots per round (0.46).

He's really good. Him and Cerq finally carried this team on LAN. Ethan played well. Stan and Tarik played out their roles including being the third or fourth fragger when needed. Almost all their players had at least one great map in the finals but Brehze is a super-star. If he and Elige ever end up on the same team it's going to be a sad day for the rest of the CS world. Also being god-like with the Krieg (Like Magisk or Elige) just means you are a smart player who is at the forefront of the meta. It's always been the teams who use every edge they have that have winning DNA. His M4 clips are just as good anyway.

As an aside there are about 6 scoped kills out of 30 with the Krieg. What you people are knocking him for is his ability to learn what was until recently described as the hardest spray pattern in the game and use it better then anyone else. If you don't think those Krieg transfers are "crispy" I don't think you understand the term.
