ben1337 joins Singularity's ESEA roster

Former Gorilla Gang and Vireo.pro member Ben "⁠ben1337⁠" Smith has appeared on Singularity's ESEA roster, becoming the fourth member of Joshua "⁠steel⁠" Nissan's roster amid reports of a move to Chaos.

steel and Gage "⁠Infinite⁠" Green linked up with Cameron "⁠cam⁠" Kern and Alan "⁠Shakezullah⁠" Hardeman on the roster at the end of September, with the latter pair being required to play in eight out of the first nine MDL games this season for the team to retain their spot in the league.

The prospective Chaos lineup would still see Shakezullah transition into a coaching role after the team played the requisite eight matches to keep hold of their spot. HLTV.org knows that the team are still in search of an AWPer to complete their ranks, having previously targeted Niels Christian "⁠NaToSaphiX⁠" Sillassen.

The addition of ben1337 brings steel's lineup up to a playable roster

Infinite and ben1337 joined forces in Singularity's ECS Season 8 Week 2 campaign, with the team suffering a 2-1 loss at the hands of Cloud9. Both Shakezullah and cam had also played alongside ben1337 in the team's first ECS Season 8 attempt, when they had also suffered a first round elimination.

The team will debut in their first match of the ESEA MDL season later this week.
