Team list for eXTREMESLAND Asia Finals set

The team list for the 2019 edition of the eXTREMESLAND Asia Finals is now finalised following the end of all national and regional qualifiers.

Alpha Red secured the final spot at the prestigious Asian event after topping the Thailand qualifier over Lucid Dream, exacting revenge on Phoomphat "⁠qqGOD⁠" Phodjanat's troops for the recent defeats in the FPSThailand Pro League S7 Finals and in ESL Pro League Asia-Pacific, earlier in the month.

The eXTREMESLAND Asia Finals will take place in Shanghai from November 14-17 and will have $100,000 on the line. All 16 teams came through qualifiers, including last year's champion, MVP PK, who will be attending their first international LAN since revamping their roster.

Grayhound will try to live up to their billing as heavy favourites

The South Korean team can hardly be considered favourites for the tournament, however. They are currently sitting 82nd in the rankings, well below Grayhound (No.16) and the two Chinese representatives, TYLOO (No.35) and ViCi (No.49). Last year's surprise runner-up, NASR, are nowhere to be seen after crashing out early in the Middle East qualifier.

The tournament will kick off with a double-elimination group stage, featuring best-of-three series in the lower bracket, followed by the single-elimination, best-of-three playoffs with the top two teams from each group. The complete team list for the event is the following:
