3-9-2009 18:21
Another two teams have been invited to the Global Challenge Chengdu – SK Gaming and k23 join the list of attendees.
Yesterday it was reported that mousesports and Evil Geniuses had joined fnatic and TyLoo on the list of attendees. Today the Electronic Sports League announces another two teams, to be attending the Global Challenge in Chengdu.
Joining them will be the Swedish team of SK Gaming, who lately has been going through some rough times, with bad results and roster changes (which could still be on?). Also joining the list will be the Kazakh side of k23, who was last seen placing second at ASUS Summer 2009.

This bring the total participants count up to a total of six teams, which means we are missing just six teams before we know the entire field of attendees. The Global Challenge Chengdu will see a total prize purse of $40.000, and a direct invite to the World Championship will be awarded to the winning team. The event is due to take place 1-3rd of October in Chengdu, China.
