EHOME qualify for EPICENTER 2019 at expense of TYLOO

EHOME have secured participation at the $500,000 EPICENTER 2019 after besting qualifier favourites, TYLOO, in a flawless 2-0 series.

EHOME join the participants' list of EPICENTER 2019 after defeating TYLOO in the grand final of the Chinese qualifier for the event, which will be held in Moscow, Russia on December 17-22. This upset is a massive blow to Hansel "⁠BnTeT⁠" Ferdinand and company ahead of the eXTREMESLAND 2019 Asia Finals, which kick off on Thursday, November 14. The loss was made extra bitter by the fact that both previous qualifier engagements against EHOME saw the team walk away with convincing 2-0 victories.

TYLOO sustained an unexpected loss against EHOME in the final

On the way to securing their spot at the $500,000 event in Moscow, EHOME secured second in group A after posting a 2/0/1 performance, where series victories against D7G and Aster were secured. They then outperformed OneThree in the playoffs' upper bracket semi-final, but were later knocked into the consolidation final by TYLOO.

A rematch against OneThree was once more fruitful, ensuring the team's spot in the grand final, where a third pairing against TYLOO took place. Against the odds and previous results, ZiHao "⁠Insane⁠" Han and company bested the favourites for the sole Chinese qualifier spot at EPICENTER 2019, eliminating TYLOO in two brief maps, Overpass (16-7) and Inferno (16-10).
