SANJI returns to AVANGAR lineup for CAC playoffs

Sanjar "⁠SANJI⁠" Kuliev will feature for AVANGAR in the CS:GO Asia Championships playoffs after sitting out the group stage, team manager Nadiia "PrincessFiona" Penzenyk has confirmed.

The Uzbek player missed the 0-2 defeat to MOUZ and the 2-1 victory over ViCi due to passport issues after applying for a visa to enter the United States to compete in the ECS Season 8 Finals, which will be held next week in Arlington.

According to the AVANGAR manager, SANJI got his passport back this afternoon and will join up with the rest of the squad ahead of Saturday's quarter-final clash against MIBR, scheduled for 06:00 .

SANJI's availability comes as come as a big boost for the CIS side, who are almost outside the top 10 in the rankings after rising to third in September following a second place at the StarLadder Major and a victory at BLAST Pro Series Moscow. After the CS:GO Asia Championships and the ECS Season 8 Finals, AVANGAR will close the year at EPICENTER, which will be held from December 17-22.
