CR4ZY beat North 16-11 on Train to clinch a DreamHack Open Sevilla semi-final berth.
CR4ZY made it four out of four playoff runs at DreamHack Opens with this lineup after defeating Movistar Riders in their Group A opening match and North in the winners’ match. Since Nemanja "nexa" Isaković and Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač’s departure, they have won in Rotterdam and made it to the semi-finals in Jönköping and Atlanta.
The match between CR4ZY and North started off with a triple by Rokas "EspiranTo" Milasauskas to put the European combine ahead on the CT side. The first gun round came after a clean anti-eco, and another three-kill round by EspiranTo kept his team solidly in the lead. It looked like North could take their first in a 2vs2 afterplant on B, but a successful retake by Luka "emi" Vuković and EspiranTo denied the Danes and put 5-0 on the board. North finally found cracks in the defense and brought it all the way back to a tie with hits on both sites, but CR4ZY put a stop to it and closed the half out with a five round streak to make it 10-5.
EspiranTo was unable to win a 1vs2 clutch on A to win the second pistol round, allowing North to jumpstart their CT-side comeback. The Danes won six in a row to take the lead, 11-10, but CR4ZY were quick to bring it back and retake the lead. Forcing North into an eco, they were able to inch closer to ending the match. Up 15-11 and with the momentum on their side they went on to close it out as emi opened up the last round with two entries on A before Georgi "SHiPZ" Grigorov and Otto "ottoNd" Sihvo finished it off in a 2vs1 afterplant on B.
