WESG APAC Finals postponed, moved to Macau
The WESG organiser has announced that the upcoming Asia-Pacific Finals have been rescheduled and moved to a different location.
In an email sent out to the participating teams on Thursday, WESG explained that the "local tournament organiser was unable to secure the required local support and resources in time" for the event, which was due to be held from January 3-5 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The tournament will now take place between February 16-18 in Macau, with the venue still to be confirmed. WESG apologized to the teams for any inconvenience caused and pledged to provide "necessary assistance where needed."

The WESG APAC Finals will feature 16 teams, determined by a series of national and regional qualifiers. Virtus.pro, the winner of the Central Asia qualifier, will be heavily favoured to secure one of the two spots at the main WESG event that will be on offer in Macau, especially after the withdrawals of Chinese duo TYLOO and ViCi, who will be replaced by OneThree and Invictus.
