Copenhagen Flames part ways with female roster
Copenhagen Flames no longer houses a female CS:GO roster, the organisation has announced.
The decision to part ways was explained to be due to the high costs associated with running two professional CS:GO rosters simultaneously. Following the departure of the team, the Danish organisation expressed wishes to "invest in and strengthen" its academy and "build a full Danish female squad of young players" in coming years.
The original CPH Flames fe squad was signed in June 2019, and over the course of their sixth-month tenure, the core successfully qualified for the LAN finals of GIRLGAMER Esports Festival 2019 and WESG 2019 despite persistent issues with roster stability.

Three former representatives of the squad in Ksenia "vilga" Kluenkova, Kelly "KllyVe" Verhaegen and coach Nikolay "pNshr" Paunin will be playing under the Assassins tag for the foreseeable future, debuting at the GIRLGAMER Esports Festival 2019, meanwhile Michaela "mimi" Lintrup recently re-joined her former teammates in WRTP. Vicky "vic" Dose has not yet made an official statement regarding her future.
The former core will now play under the Assassins tag, consisting of:
Ksenia "vilga" Kluenkova
Kelly "KllyVe" Verhaegen
Ana "ANa" Dumbravă
Klaudia "klaudia" Beczkiewicz
Alexandra "twenty3" Timonina
Nikolay "pNshr" Paunin (coach)
