nawwk departs GamerLegion

GamerLegion have announced the departure of Tim "⁠nawwk⁠" Jonasson on Twitter.

nawwk is expected to join Ninjas in Pyjamas as part of a shift in the Swedish scene caused by the long-rumored creation of a new Dignitas lineup featuring the four-man core of the original Ninjas roster.

The AWPer had been playing with GamerLegion for the majority of a year, having joined the team from x6tence Galaxy in March. At the time, he played alongside Kévin "⁠Ex6TenZ⁠" Droolans, Adil "⁠ScreaM⁠" Benrlitom, and Kevin "⁠HS⁠" Tarn, but over the next few months several moves saw the German organization transition to a fully Swedish roster.

nawwk leaves GamerLegion ahead of his reported move to NiP

nawwk most notably helped the European version place second at Moche XL Esports in June. After the creation of the Swedish core, the team reached the semi-finals at Good Game League in Poland and at WePlay! Forge of Masters Season 2 Finals in Ukraine.

According to the aforementioned report, GamerLegion are expected to bring in a new AWPer in William "⁠draken⁠" Sundin to fill the gap left by the 22-year-old's departure.

The former Ninjas in Pyjamas member has already been seen playing with the squad instead of nawwk in the IEM Katowice 2020 Europe Open qualifier, in which GamerLegion reached the round of 16, where they lost to Apeks.

At the moment, GamerLegion officially boast the following lineup:

he literally does nothing for team, just plays antiflash positions and doesnt create any space at all. Worst enemies flashed, lowest time of rotation, and against teams like Astralis or Liquid he always throws in the most important rounds just like twist. f0rest too old to have control over overpeeking and knowing when to fall back or give a round winning flash
