Syman add mou and kreaz, Ramz1kBO$$ steps down

The CIS team Syman has announced that Ramazan "⁠Ramz1kBO$$⁠" Bashizov has stepped down from the roster, with two players joining to complete the lineup.

The departure of Ilya "⁠Perfecto⁠" Zalutskiy to Natus Vincere saw Syman go down to four players earlier this month, and now it has been revealed that the team's star AWPer Ramz1kBO$$ won't be continuing with the lineup either.

The Kazakh AWPer is going inactive

As of now, Ramz1kBO$$ will be going inactive, with his place as the primary AWP player looking to be taken over by Rustem "⁠mou⁠" Telepov, whose stint in China was cut short due to coronavirus fears. Finalizing the roster will be Rasmus "⁠kreaz⁠" Johansson, who stood-in for fnatic at the ESL Pro League Season 10 group stage and previously represented teams like Epsilon and Budapest Five.

Syman are invited to the CIS Minor Closed Qualifier, which will take place early in March and decide the eight teams that will travel to Brazil to compete for a place at the ESL One Rio Major.

Due to the roster shuffle, Syman will change their language of communication from Russian to English. As of now, the roster is "temporary", with its long-term prospects depending on the Minor results.

Depends on team mentality, they might just speak russian when kreaz is dead because comms is more efficient that way. They say themselves that the lineup is temporary, which suggests a more "instant results" type mentality in the team anyways

Fun thing is that they call it temporary but still have set a date in 1-2 months. I've seen permanent players get shorter trials than that.

Yeah, that has been an issue for teams in the past. GamerLegion, OpTic and most likely other teams as well. I think Kreaz is good enough to get a trial at a higher level, the question is if this team is good enough and if the risk for this team isn't too high compared of the possible reward.
