a-Losers shut down

a-Losers have confirmed the disbandment of the historical gaming organisation as they have moved to Frankfurt 69ers.

Founded in 2000, a-Losers attended several international events in the past and won an EPS title back in 2003, but had been struggling for a while to make their mark in Germany.

a-Losers have now announced the disbandment of the entire organisation as they feel it had become "obsolete", taking into account the evolution esports have witnessed in recent times.

All of a-Losers' gaming teams - including the Counter-Strike squad, current twelfth-placed side in EPS - will remain in the organisation, now called Frankfurt 69ers.

"We are looking forward to working as Frankfurt 69ers, a new project with many possibilities," Frankfurt 69ers CEO Dennis "IIZ" Rosenberg told the team's website. "The mostt important thing is that we are now closer to our players and we can give them a better support. So after nine years we say: goodbye a-Losers, hello Frankfurt 69ers."

Frankfurt 69ers have the following Counter-Strike team:

Milad "Milad" Zamiri
Michele "zonixx" Köhler
Lukas "Relay" Nething
Sebastian "gimp" Bär
Dennis "seezung" Seesing

trx isn´t able to play anymore, because of his new student fraternity and the poor / instable internet-connection there and colly... dno, i guess he is missed or something like that^^ Seezung wrote this in another topic a few days ago (sorry if not totaly correct, can´t remember it in detail o0)

omg that was a traditional name... :O short history: first they were the "AOL-Clan" (Advanced Online Losers) but they got some trouble with the big provider and so they changed it to a-Losers for the last 9 years damn this was one of the old teams like mTw.de, hoorai, aTTaX, mouz ,TBH, faculty and a-losers

wOw... small shock here. I don't follow the EPS and I'm quite surprised to learn that they were place 12th, that's really low for such a well known team as I wouldn't even be able to name 11 other German teams xD

It's not like I didn't read it. I understand that my comment was bad and not fully written. It's sad that the a-Losers name is gone. Loved that name. And I've always loved to watch seezung play so I'm happy that he gets the chance to give us great headbooms. More clear? Hopefully =)

I guess alot of you guys read over it, but they changed name, all teams remain in the "same" organisation. a-Losers = Frankfurt 69ers. Good luck to all!
